Welcome back to school!!

It is great to be back at school. The teachers have been busy preparing this week for the students. We are anxiously awaiting the smiling happy faces coming on Tuesday. Welcome to any new Columbia Students. Grade One is an exciting year. We will read, write, sing, dance, create, run, jump and learn together. The growth over the Grade One school year is huge. It is a beautiful week. We are busy working away at our words and numbers. The students are catching on very quickly. Thank you for practising your stories everynight. It makes such a difference in their progress. Next week is spirit week at Columbia School. Monday - Backwards day Tuesday - Blue and Yellow Day Wednesday - Hat Day (for $2 donation to Terry Fox Foundation) Thursday - Red and White Day Friday - Jersey Day It is fun and easy to participate!
