We have been busy in March

We have had a blast working with fairy tales this month. The students did lots of writing, creating and acting. Our favorite project was the castle making afternoon. What a busy happy room we were! We also really did a lot of work with our writing and character development. We compared characters and different versions of many different tales. We are becoming better readers and writers everyday. We also had a lot of fun working on measurement. We used scales and rulers to test out what was longer, shorter, heavier and lighter. We became very good at balancing scales and making predictions about our work. We even spent a couple classes measuring the area of many things in our classroom in sticky notes! Lots of fun. Thank you to the students for a great job at the student lead conferences.
